The summer course takes place at Wismar University. Wismar ist an attractive port at the Baltic Sea with about 50,000 inhabitants. It was founded in 1229. The town has a pleasant atmosphere and a real youthful flair, not only due to the great number of students. Since 2002 Wismar has belonged to the UNESCO World Culture Heritage and can offer much to visitors interested in culture.
